Gleam Gathering 2026

Feb 25, 2026   Kero van Gelder
We just had the Gleam Gathering 2026 and it appears we still lack documentation. It pushed me to have a look at my own blog - and the content turns out to be very outdated. We have seen major releases of gleam_erlang, gleam_otp, with the new static supervisor and factory supervisor.

On top of that, I have learned a lot myself in the last two years; how to think in processes, registries, and more.

So I'll rewrite my posts about processes and add a few about supervisors and registries.

Gleam Gathering 2026

Organized by @crowdhailer and his wife, in vibrant Bristol, UK. I am not going to make a full report, others will do that. A few take-aways follow now.
